  1. With Dish I've been doing this for about a year now. I'm not sure if DirecTV has advanced their technology yet, but for the longest time DirecTV customers could only stream their TV while INSIDE the home. I have a Sling Adapter with Dish, and when I downloaded the free Dish Remote Access app I was able to take all my live TV and DVR with me on the go. Dish let us do an employee beta test of this tech, and it has made it SO much nicer to have our TV with us anywhere we go.
